The annual Fortnite summer event, called Summer Escape this year, is here and brings beachy vibes to Chapter 4 Season 3. All the details, including the start time, quests, and rewards, are listed below.
Fortnite’s annual events have been a staple of the game since its beginning, providing players with new content and gameplay as well as the chance to obtain cosmetics based around the event. Annual events in Fortnite include the terrifying Fortnitemares, the festive Winterfest, the colorful Spring Breakout, and the refreshing Summer event, which brings beachy vibes to the island.

Summer Escape, which is the summer event of Chapter 4 Season 3, is now live in the game. Dropping onto the island, which consists summer-themed décor and introduces players to new content and goodies can now be seen.

When does the Summer Escape event begin in Fortnite?
The Summer Escape event went live in-game on July 4, 2023 at 9 AM ET globally. The files for the same were decrypted and were simply added to the game without any major content update as such.

Twitter/FortniteGameSimilar to the previous iterations of the event like the 2022 Summer Splash event in Chapter 3, there are certain content changes that have been made to the game including new items, consumables as well as summer-themed décor spread across the map.
The event has been announced to conclude on July 18, 2023, when the next big content update of Chapter 4 Season 3 hits the game.
All Summer Escape Event Quests
Epic GamesThe Summer Escape event consists of exciting quests for players to complete around the Chapter 4 Season 3 island.
The Summer Escape event has brought several themed quests that requires players to accomplish a set of tasks related to the content added to the game. These quests are divided into three phases that will each be available for a limited time to players and will release gradually.

Each wave of these quests will release until July 16, 2023 and will expire in a specific time designated to them.
The Quench Quests
The Quench Quests went live in-game on July 4, 2023 and will be available in-game for players to complete until July 7. Here are all the challenges and rewards associated with the questline and the reward you can get from each quest:

Lagoon Party Quests
The Lagoon Party Quests will be go live in-game on July 8, 2023 and will expire on July 11, 2023. We’ll update this section as soon as they are live.

Make An Entrance Quests
The Make An Entrance Quests will be go live in-game on July 12, 2023 and will expire on July 16, 2023. We’ll update this section as soon as they are live.

How to get free Summer Escape rewards in Fortnite
Epic GamesPlayers will need to complete the event-themed quests to unlock free rewards in the game.
Players will need to complete special summer-themed quests in order to claim some free rewards that have arrived with Summer Escape. The rewards consists of special cosmetic items as well as generous amounts of XP that can help players level up faster across their Battle Pass.

Additionally Fortnite Crew subscribers who log into Fortnite anytime during the Summer Escape event will receive a bonus Nanner Buddy Back Bling (with a Tropical selectable style).
